Addressing Antisocial Behaviour
Our role is to meet with those responsible for, or subject to, ASB and explore what voluntary measures individuals may need to enable them to find ways of moving forward positively for themselves. ASB can ultimately lead to legal action and we aim to maximise a person’s chances to change their behaviour before it reaches that stage.
In most cases, people want to get themselves out of difficult situations and with a bit of help to source what they need, issues can settle down.
If firmer measures are needed then an Acceptable Behaviour Contract can be negotiated, this is a voluntary written agreement between the person responsible for ASB and those agreeing to support them to change.
